Day 1: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Rongli – Sillery Gaon

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from NJP/Bagdogra to Sillery Gaon, a peaceful Himalayan hamlet. En route, pass through Rongli, the gateway to the Silk Route. Check in at your homestay and enjoy a relaxed evening soaking in mountain views. Overnight stay at Sillery Gaon.

Day 2: Sillery Gaon – Zuluk via Aritar & Thambi View Point

After breakfast, drive towards Zuluk, one of the most iconic villages on the Silk Route. En route, visit Aritar Lake (Lampokhari) and witness the legendary sunrise from Thambi View Point, offering panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Continue your ascent through the famous zig-zag mountain roads to reach Zuluk. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

Day 3: Zuluk – Nathang Valley – Kupup – Zuluk

Today explore the high-altitude wonders of the Silk Route. Visit Nathang Valley, also known as the “Ladakh of East Sikkim,” followed by Kupup Lake (Elephant Lake), Yak Golf Course, and Old Baba Mandir. Experience the stark beauty of the Eastern Himalayas before returning to Zuluk for the night.

Day 4: Zuluk – Rongli – Aritar

After breakfast, descend towards Aritar, a picturesque village surrounded by forests and hills. Enjoy peaceful surroundings and optional village walks. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Aritar.

 

Day 5: Aritar – NJP / Bagdogra Departure

After breakfast, drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport with unforgettable memories of the Silk Route adventure.
